Hi, I was wondering if I unlocked the sidekick, would the internet and chat work in asia?

Because Im planning to get the sidekick LX which is coming out soon, and bringing it to asia. But before I buy it I would want to know if it works, because I really dont want just a cellphone with a nice keypad. Thanks :)

Yes calling would work, but for whatever service you are going to use, ask them for the internet settings

Usually if you pull a tmobile phone off of there network it does not work as well. IT would be best to talk to a tech person at Tmobile and ask about how that would work on another provider in asia though.
