How many of you will think abut coming here to Asia to vacation?

If you have the time then Asia for the most part is inexpensive and great to get to know about. You acn actually live here for a couple of months for less than what it would cost to stay home. Yes it is true. This is not true for Japan and tight in Korea but China and SE Asia is still cheap.

Sure, I'd love to go to China. But from the east coast of USA, that's about a 13 hour flight just to get to a jumping off point like Beijing. Have you been on a plane in coach for 13 hours these days? That's a tough ride. The $1200 dollars to get there and back is reasonable, but still a good chunk of money. Maybe I'll make it there someday in the next few years, but it will be quite a trip - I'd rather work out a way to go live there for a while instead of just being an in-and-out tourist.

Yes you are right! My husband and I travelled to China last year and that was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Yangshou (not sure of spelling) was so gorgeous! We could have stayed there forever! The food was fantastic and the beer was super cheap! If you get the chance, go there!!
