in south Asia (India ) (i know only of India )the main occupation farming so more than 50% of land is used in agriculture. Indian farmers mostly grow wheat as it is the main food item. the soil is so fertile that growing season is all around the year. and some part of food grains and spices r exported. other uses r land is used to grow cotton ,jute and other raw materials for clothes.
