How to help people in South Asia?

They still live in tents in harsh winter. What is the best way to help build their homes. The money can be usurped by the corrupt. It will be a year anniverssary on October 8 2006 of the south asia earthquake.

Take all of your own money and go there. Find somebody that needs a home, buy the materials, and build them a home. Buy them food and medicine.
