Can I buy a cell phone from Asia or Europe and get it to work in the US?

I want to buy the HTC Touch Pro, but it comes out in Asia and Europe before it comes to the US. Can I buy it from overseas and get it to work in the US.

as long as you have t-mobile or ATT and make sure it is unlocked, it should work.

yes it should work. first you gotta make sure its unlocked. and the htc touch diamond(im pretty sure that the phone your talking about, because the original htc touch doesn't have a pro version) and all you gotta do is get a sim from a company and you good.

Yes if the SIM card will work with US carriers (which it probably will if it is from the UK)

It is quad band so it'll work in the U.S. You just need a sim card to put in it.
