How are the tigris and euphrates rivers important natural resources for the people in southwest asia?

This is on my study for this huge test and I have no idea what these rivers are or where they are but im guessing that they are in asia, now arent i smart

They are rivers located mostly in Iraq and on the border of Iran and Iraq and in part of Turkey.

They provide much needed water to a very very very arid desert area of Asia.
